Easy Sun-Dried Cherry Tomato Meze
Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes
- Rock salt
- Thyme
- Olive oil
- 2-3 sprigs basil
Preparation
Wash and dry the tomatoes.
Cut them in half and place on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle with salt and bake at 120°C for 4 hours.
After cooling, add thyme, olive oil, and basil, then mix.
Store in a suitable jar.
Tips
Ensure tomatoes are thoroughly dried before baking to achieve proper sun-dried texture.
When storing, cover the tomatoes with olive oil; the excess oil can be used in other dishes.
