Fish Finger Satni
Ingredients
- 12 fish fingers
- 1 onion finely sliced
- generous handful of coriander
- 1/2 - 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Preparation
Cook all of the fish fingers by either grilling, air frying or frying in oil, i like to airfry mine
After cooking, break the fish fingers up with a fork and leave to one side to cool
Finely slice the onion, green chillies (or crumble the roasted chillies) and coriander
Place these ingredients in a bowl and add salt, start off with less, you can always add more but you can't take it away, and using your hands mix the ingredients vigorously until you feel the juices from the onion start to flow
If you're not used to handling chillies like this, wear gloves to do this as this can leave a burning sensation otherwise
Add in the fish fingers and mix again, the Fish Finger Satni is now ready to eat. Serve with plain basmati or slather your favourite bread with butter and top it with this, the best filling you'll have had in a long time, trust me
