Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon @ziyadbrand tahini
  • 1 16oz can of @goyafoods chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 fresh medium boiled beet
  • 1 cup spinach variation
  • 1 avocado variation
  • 1 red bell pepper variation

Preparation

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor, and process until smooth

  2. Add your variation vegetable for different taste

  3. Add parsley; pulse until blended

  4. Spoon hummus into a serving bowl; sprinkle with pomegranate seeds or chili powder if desired

  5. Serve with pita wedges, falafel sandwich, veggie sticks, salad, quinoa buddha bowl, chip+dip
