Spreadable Vegan Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour or skinless slivered almonds
- 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 cup water or plant-based milk
Preparation
Preheat oven or use toaster oven at 400°
If using slivered skinless almonds instead of almond flour soak for 1 hour in hot water or overnight in room temperature water
If using almond flour skip this step
Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender
Process/blend until smooth
Add a generous spoonful of cheese to your flatbread and spread evenly
Bake at 400 for 7 minutes and then let cool off and add cherry tomatoes, arugula, basil, avocado and red pepper flakes
