Vegan Pizza

Ingredients

  • for the pizza dough:
  • 300g of self rising bread flour (needs to have yeast in it already)
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • for rest of the pizza:
  • 100g-150g thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 of yellow onion & 1/4 of red onion
  • 1 can of already made Italian tomato sauce with Italian herbs (saves a lot of time in my opinion)
  • Vegan cheese amount to your taste (choose brand that melts well)

Preparation

  1. First, make the pizza dough by adding a bit of warm water to the self rising flour and mix with a hand mixer until you have a dough like consistency! Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and let it rise for an hour

  2. Next, prepare the tofu by slinging the tofu as thin as possible and than just spice it with the above mentioned spices to your taste! Stir fry it a bit on a pan with a little pinch of oil

  3. Add the tomato sauce (you can also add garlic and onions already to the tomato sauce and stir fry it a bit as well)! After the dough has risen, fold it into a square or circle and start placing the tomato sauce and the tofu on top! Now, put some vegan cheese on the pizza until mostly covered

  4. Cut a few onion slices and place them on top of the cheese and put the mushrooms as well on top of cheese

  5. Now just put the pizza in the oven for around 20 minutes at 180C° or until it's done! ENJOY this deliciousness
