Feeding our Toddlers Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • Handful of ice
  • 1 large ripe banana (or two smaller bananas)
  • 1 apple, chopped (I use honey crisp or Fuji)
  • Handful of frozen mango
  • Small handful of fresh parsley
  • A few squeezes of a lemon
  • Several big handfuls of fresh spinach

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in order into a Vitamix or high-powered blender, with spinach added last. For an 8 cup Vitamix, fill the remaining space with spinach after adding the fruits.

  2. Blend until the mixture is totally smooth.

  3. Pour into glasses and enjoy.
