Bean burgers
Ingredients
- 1 can mixed beans, drained and mashed
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 handful fresh herbs, chopped
- dash lemon juice
- breadcrumbs made from 1 crust of bread
- 2 tbsp oats
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation
Sauté the onion in a drizzle of olive oil
Mash the cooked, cooled veggies and beans. We used leftover veggies from a previous meal
Add in the garam masala, herbs, lemon juice and mix
Shape into burger shapes
Place the bread into a food processor with the oats and sesame seeds. Process to crumbs
Roll the burgers in the crumb coating. Place onto a greased baking tray
Bake for 25-30 mins at Gas Mark 5/200C
