Simple No-Bake Orange Tart
Ingredients
Crust
- 150g gluten-free oat flour
- 50g almond flour
- 5 pitted medjool dates, soaked
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon pink salt
Filling
- 1.5 cups fresh orange juice
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 can coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon agar agar powder
Preparation
Take out an 8-inch tart tin and generously grease it with oil, then set it aside.
Use a food processor to blend all crust ingredients until thoroughly mixed and consistent.
Spread the mixture into the tart tin and press firmly with the back of a spoon to form a crust.
Place the crust in the freezer to set while preparing the filling.
In a saucepan, combine orange juice and maple syrup, stir well, and cook on medium-high heat until thick.
Add coconut milk and agar agar powder, stirring until fully dissolved.
Remove from heat, let cool, then pour the filling into the crust.
Refrigerate the tart for 4 hours to set.
Keep an eye on the tart to prevent it from being eaten before serving.
