Chicken Teppanyaki with Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
- Sliced mushrooms
- Sliced zucchini
- Sliced bell peppers
- Carrot slices
- 500g cubed chicken breast
- 500g cleaned shrimp
- Soybean sprouts
- Peanut oil
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 minced garlic clove
Peanut sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Preparation
Heat a deep skillet with peanut oil.
Cook the vegetables, chicken, and shrimp until done.
Mix the soy sauce ingredients and pour over the cooked mixture.
Let it simmer briefly to develop flavor.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
Prepare the peanut sauce by mixing its ingredients.
Serve over steamed rice and accompany with peanut sauce.
