Buckwheat Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup buckwheat
  • water (for soaking)
  • half a frozen banana
  • a handful of blueberries
  • a little flaxseed
  • maca powder

Toppings

  • figs
  • vanilla granola
  • a drizzle of almond butter

Preparation

  1. Soak 1/4 cup buckwheat in water overnight.

  2. In the morning, rinse the buckwheat and add it to a high-speed blender with half a frozen banana, a handful of blueberries, a little flaxseed, maca powder, and blend until smooth.

  3. Top with figs, vanilla granola, and a drizzle of almond butter.

  4. Enjoy!
