Vegan Beet Velvet Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water or nut milk
  • 1 small frozen chopped beet
  • 3 frozen strawberries
  • 2 Frozen Figs or handful Cherries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 Medjool Date
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp Maca powder (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seed
  • Pinch pink sea salt

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients with a handful of ice for thicker consistency, or without ice for more drinkable consistency.

  2. If making the smoothie bowl, add toppings such as granola, fresh fruits, cacao nibs, or coconut whip for a milkshake style.
