Creamy Energising Turmeric Smoothie Drink

Ingredients

  • 5 ice cubes
  • 1/2 firm banana
  • 1 cup filtered water or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup pineapple
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1/2 whole vanilla bean
  • 1/2 tbsp cashew butter
  • 1 tsp pure ginger juice
  • pinch of black pepper
  • pinch of cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blitz on the highest speed, working your way up gradually, for 1 minute

  2. Pour into a glass and top with extra turmeric powder and cinnamon

Tips

  1. Add a pinch of black pepper to increase curcumin absorption

  2. Can be enjoyed as a breakfast drink or post-dinner anti-inflammatory snack
