Homemade Green Juice with Fresh Veggies

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch organic green kale
  • 2 lemons
  • 1-inch piece ginger
  • 2 green apples
  • 1 whole celery bunch
  • 1 cucumber (optional)
  • 4 cups water

Preparation

  1. Rinse off all veggies and scrub kale and celery to remove dirt.

  2. Cut peelings off lemon and ginger.

  3. Cut apple leaving only the core.

  4. Throw all ingredients into blender, doing it in batches if needed since it may not fit all at once.

  5. Blend on high speed.

  6. Pour mixture into a fine mesh bag and drain out juice into a bowl.

  7. Store juice in an airtight bottle; it lasts 3-4 days and makes 4 servings.
