Grilled Cheese Kale Toasties
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter (dairy-free butter can be used)
- 2 cups steamed kale stems
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (vegan cheese can be used)
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
Preparation
Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the slices of bread to the pan and top two of the slices with steamed kale and shredded cheese.
Cook for a couple of minutes until the cheese starts to melt.
Flip the other two slices of bread on top of the ones with kale and cheese.
Continue to cook for another 30 seconds until the cheese is fully melted.
Serve the grilled cheese kale toasties immediately and enjoy!
