Ingredients

  • 200g Rhum soaked dried fruit (don't be fussy here, loads of booze works, brandy, cointreau etc, use orange juice if you are on dry January *yawn*) 160g dark chocolate
  • 100g milk chocolate (using up old Christmas stuff)
  • 150g Nice or digestive biscuits
  • 150g light muscavado sugar
  • 150ml honey
  • 150g butter
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • handful of hazelnuts

Preparation

  1. Soak the fruit in some booze if using

  2. Melt the sugar, honey, butter, and finely chopped chocolate in a pan together

  3. Roughly crush the biscuits

  4. When the chocolate mix is melted, as the fruit, biscuits and whole nuts. Pour into a lined baking tray of appropriate size (smallish) and spread to the edges. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours, then chow down
