Ingredients
- 200g Rhum soaked dried fruit (don't be fussy here, loads of booze works, brandy, cointreau etc, use orange juice if you are on dry January *yawn*) 160g dark chocolate
- 100g milk chocolate (using up old Christmas stuff)
- 150g Nice or digestive biscuits
- 150g light muscavado sugar
- 150ml honey
- 150g butter
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- handful of hazelnuts
Preparation
Soak the fruit in some booze if using
Melt the sugar, honey, butter, and finely chopped chocolate in a pan together
Roughly crush the biscuits
When the chocolate mix is melted, as the fruit, biscuits and whole nuts. Pour into a lined baking tray of appropriate size (smallish) and spread to the edges. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours, then chow down
