Baked Pears
Ingredients
- 2 pears cut in half, seeds spooned out
- walnuts or pecans roughly chopped
- 2 tsp. melted coconut oil
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract or bean paste
- cinnamon & sea salt to sprinkle
Preparation
Preheat oven to 160 Celsius
Line baking tray with paper & place the halves evenly
Place nuts in the spooned out area
Mix together coconut oil, maple syrup & vanilla & pour evenly over pears
Dust over cinnamon & a small pinch of salt
Bake for 30minutes or until soft but golden
Serve warm with yummy @thecocotribe coconut yoghurt, also a sneaky traditional golden warm Anzac biscuit
