Cinnamon Breakfast Donuts

Ingredients

  • 50g oats, blended to a flour
  • 100g vanilla yoghurt (i use soya)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup/sweetener/sugar
  • 70g self raising flour (plus extra for dusting the kitchen surface
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar/ sweetener and 5 smidgens of nut butter or maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4

  2. Mix everything in a bowl to form a dough

  3. Grease a baking tray, dust the kitchen surface and roll out five round balls from the dough

  4. Flatten them onto the baking tray and use the handle of a wooden spoon to press holes in each of them

  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden

  6. Drizzle with maple syrup and roll in cinnamon sugar (just mix sugar with cinnamon) or spread a little butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
