Cinnamon Breakfast Donuts
Ingredients
- 50g oats, blended to a flour
- 100g vanilla yoghurt (i use soya)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup/sweetener/sugar
- 70g self raising flour (plus extra for dusting the kitchen surface
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp sugar/ sweetener and 5 smidgens of nut butter or maple syrup
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4
Mix everything in a bowl to form a dough
Grease a baking tray, dust the kitchen surface and roll out five round balls from the dough
Flatten them onto the baking tray and use the handle of a wooden spoon to press holes in each of them
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden
Drizzle with maple syrup and roll in cinnamon sugar (just mix sugar with cinnamon) or spread a little butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
