Double Chocolate Oat Bars

Ingredients

  • 100ml coconut oil
  • 150ml maple syrup
  • 100g oat flour (blended oats)
  • 70g oats
  • 50g dessicated coconut
  • 20g cacao powder
  • 100g vegan chocolate
  • pinch salt

Preparation

  1. In a small pan, melt the coconut oil and syrup

  2. Meanwhile, add the oat flour, oats, coconut, cacao and salt to a bowl and combine

  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry, and mix until a dough forms

  4. Press into a deep 11x18cm lined tray, and pop in the oven at 170°c for 15-16 mins

  5. Remove and melt the choc

  6. Pour over the oat bars, allow to cool and set, then slice and enjoy !
