Baked Banana Bread Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup oats (GF)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (use almond butter for Paleo)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda (for Paleo, you can use baking powder for a non-Paleo version)
  • 1 tsp organic maple syrup (or vanilla extract for non-Paleo)
  • 1/4 cup organic sugar-free dark chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together mashed banana, oats, almond milk, chia seeds, nut butter, ground cinnamon, baking soda (or baking powder), and organic maple syrup (or vanilla extract).

  2. Add the organic sugar-free dark chocolate chips to the mixture.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a ramekin or individual baking dish.

  4. Top with more chocolate chips and, if desired, additional nut butter.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.

  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

  7. Enjoy your delicious baked banana bread oats!
