Baked Banana Bread Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 mashed banana
- 1/2 cup oats (GF)
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp nut butter (use almond butter for Paleo)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda (for Paleo, you can use baking powder for a non-Paleo version)
- 1 tsp organic maple syrup (or vanilla extract for non-Paleo)
- 1/4 cup organic sugar-free dark chocolate chips
Preparation
In a bowl, mix together mashed banana, oats, almond milk, chia seeds, nut butter, ground cinnamon, baking soda (or baking powder), and organic maple syrup (or vanilla extract).
Add the organic sugar-free dark chocolate chips to the mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a ramekin or individual baking dish.
Top with more chocolate chips and, if desired, additional nut butter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
