Easy Raw Vegan Cinnamon Roll
Ingredients
- 12 medjool dates
- 1/2 cup raw
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (use ceylon cinnamon)
- 1/4 cup walnuts, very finely chopped (we love @crazywalnuts )
- maple syrup to drizzle, about 1 tablespoon
- raw
- 1 cup raw cashews (soak for a few hours for easy blending)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp of himalayan sea salt
Preparation
Blend ingredients (cashews, lemon juice, salt) until smooth - add water if needed to thin out.
Directions for Cinnamon Roll creation
Cut all of the dates in half long-ways, and remove the seed from the center of each one
In a small bowl, mix the
Scoop about 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture into each date-half. Arrange the dates on a serving platter
Add chopped walnuts over the dates, and lightly drizzle syrup over the top of all of them
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve
