Gluten-Free & Vegan Brownies

Ingredients

  • 25g ground flaxseed in 60g of warm water or coffee
  • 70g margarine
  • 100g chocolate
  • 120g plant-based milk
  • 200g blond sugar
  • 70g white rice flour
  • 20g cornstarch
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Prepare a mold with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the ground flaxseed with warm water or coffee and let it sit.

  3. On low heat, in a saucepan, melt the margarine, chocolate, and milk together.

  4. In a large bowl, add the sugar and pour in the melted mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon.

  5. Add the flaxseed gel to the bowl and stir.

  6. Sift the flour, starch, and 2 pinches of salt into the bowl. Stir until the batter is homogeneous (avoid overmixing).

  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared mold and bake for 25-30 minutes.

  8. Allow the brownies to cool down before slicing them.
