Apple Crumble Pie with Homegrown Apples
Ingredients
Apple Filling
- 6 small apples
- 2 tbsp vegan butter
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp agave syrup
Crumble
- 1 dl oats
- 1 dl flour
- Handful of walnuts (around 0.5 dl)
- 50-75 g vegan butter
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
Preparation
Chop the apples into small pieces.
Add the chopped apples to a pot along with vegan butter, cinnamon powder, and agave syrup.
Cook the mixture for a few minutes until the apples start to soften.
Divide the apple filling between 4 small pie forms.
Chop the walnuts.
In a bowl, combine chopped walnuts, oats, flour, vegan butter, and agave syrup.
Knead the mixture by hand until it forms a crumbly dough.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the apple filling in the pie forms.
Place the pie forms in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Serve the apple crumble pies with a scoop of soy vanilla ice cream on top.
