Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of raw cashews
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 3/4 cups of water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
  • pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • elbow pasta or pasta of choice

Preparation

  1. In a blender (i used my nutri bullet) place cashews, garlic, lemon juice, 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt, pepper, paprika, nutritional yeast, water and blend

  2. Set aside

  3. Cook elbow pasta as per instructions or pasta of choice

  4. Add the pasta to the cheese mixture and combine
