Spicy Italian Arrabbiata Pasta with Herbs

Ingredients

  • Pasta
  • 1 onion
  • 4-6 garlic cloves
  • 4 dried tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Chilli oil
  • 1 chilli
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1/4 pack plantbased cream
  • 2tb tomato puree
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2tb tomato pesto
  • 1/2 handful basil
  • 1/2 handful parsley
  • Dash of white wine

Preparation

  1. Cook your pasta

  2. Chop onion, garlic and chilli

  3. Fry in oil

  4. Chop tomatoes and add to the pan

  5. Add a good amount of chilli oil depending on how spicy you like it

  6. Add salt, pepper and tomato puree

  7. Add a cup of pasta water

  8. Add tomato pesto

  9. Simmer for about 10 minutes

  10. Take all out

  11. Puree with a mixer

  12. Put back on the stove

  13. Add the wine and cream

  14. Simmer for a couple more minutes

  15. Spice with salt and pepper

  16. Chop parsley and basil

  17. Serve pasta with sauce and parsley and basil on top
