Addicted to dates
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (solid)
- 1/8 tsp sea salt or himalayan pink salt
- 1+1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1+1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp allspice (pimento)
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- course sea salt for garnish
Preparation
Simply add all of the ingredients to your food processor and blend for about 30 seconds until smooth. Be careful not to over-blend as the mixture could separate.
Add the fudge to a small baking dish or lunch box lined with parchment paper and freeze for 4 hours
Once set, cut into bite sized cubes and sprinkle with course sea salt to taste.
This fudge stores best in the freezer and can be eaten straight from there or left to thaw for a few minutes first.
