Pesto Without Parmesan Cheese
Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh basil
- 1/2 cup of basil & extra virgin olive oil spray
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup absolute organic nutritional yeast
- 2 small roasted garlic gloves
- 3 tsp chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp of sea salt
- cracked pepper
Preparation
Add the basil, roasted garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, water and nutritional yeast into a food processor
Blend until combined
Add more oil if a smoother consistency is desired
Mix in chopped walnuts
Serve the pesto as a salad dressing, with pasta or as a dip with crackers! it delicious ?
