Pesto Without Parmesan Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup of basil & extra virgin olive oil spray
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup absolute organic nutritional yeast
  • 2 small roasted garlic gloves
  • 3 tsp chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp of sea salt
  • cracked pepper

Preparation

  1. Add the basil, roasted garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, water and nutritional yeast into a food processor

  2. Blend until combined

  3. Add more oil if a smoother consistency is desired

  4. Mix in chopped walnuts

  5. Serve the pesto as a salad dressing, with pasta or as a dip with crackers! it delicious ?
