Banana and Almond Butter Oatmeal Delight

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana
  • 40g oats
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • Boiled water
  • Maple syrup (optional)
  • Blueberries
  • Toasted walnuts
  • Mixed seeds
  • Dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine the oats and almond butter.

  2. Add boiling water to the bowl, covering the oats and almond butter mixture. Stir well and let it sit for a few minutes to thicken.

  3. In a pan, fry the sliced banana in a drizzle of maple syrup or oil of your choice until golden and caramelized. Set aside.

  4. Once the oats have thickened, give them a good stir and transfer them to a serving bowl.

  5. Top the oatmeal with the pan-fried banana slices.

  6. Sprinkle blueberries, toasted walnuts, and mixed seeds over the oatmeal.

  7. Drizzle a bit of dark chocolate over the top for a decadent touch.
