Easy Noodles with Spicy Peanut Sauce

Ingredients

Noodles

  • 320g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 160 grams room temperature water

For cooking noodles

  • 4 quarts water
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt
  • sesame oil

Spicy peanut sauce

  • 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Preparation

  1. Combine the noodle ingredients to form a dough and knead until smooth

  2. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes

  3. Roll out the dough and cut it into noodles

  4. Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil, add 2 tablespoons sea salt, and cook the noodles until tender. Drain and toss with sesame oil to prevent sticking.

  5. In a small bowl, mix all the spicy peanut sauce ingredients until well combined

  6. Toss the cooked noodles with the spicy peanut sauce and serve immediately
