Easy Noodles with Spicy Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
Noodles
- 320g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 160 grams room temperature water
For cooking noodles
- 4 quarts water
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- sesame oil
Spicy peanut sauce
- 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon chili oil
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup or sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Preparation
Combine the noodle ingredients to form a dough and knead until smooth
Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes
Roll out the dough and cut it into noodles
Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil, add 2 tablespoons sea salt, and cook the noodles until tender. Drain and toss with sesame oil to prevent sticking.
In a small bowl, mix all the spicy peanut sauce ingredients until well combined
Toss the cooked noodles with the spicy peanut sauce and serve immediately
