Easy Noodles with Spicy Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
Noodles
- 320g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 160 grams room temperature water
For cooking noodles
- 4 quarts water
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- sesame oil
Spicy peanut sauce
- 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon chili oil
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup or sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Preparation
Mix flour, salt, and water to form noodle dough
Knead the dough and let it rest for at least 30 minutes
Roll out the dough and cut it into noodles
Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil, add 2 tablespoons sea salt, and cook the noodles until tender
Drain the noodles and toss with sesame oil to prevent sticking.
In a separate bowl, mix all spicy peanut sauce ingredients together until well combined
Combine the cooked noodles with the spicy peanut sauce and serve
