Delicious Chocolate and Beetroot Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1-Preheat oven 160C
  • 2-melt 200g culinary dark chocolate and 100g unsalted butter over a pan of simmering water
  • 3-remove bowl from pan and let cool down slightly then add 3 eggs
  • 4-add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5- add 20g organic cocoa powder & whisk
  • 6- add 200g coconut sugar & whisk
  • 7- add 100g self raising flour & whisk (for #glutenfree use oat flour with baking powder)
  • 8- add 300g cooked beetroot grated & whisk
  • 9- place mixture in a tin over baking paper
  • 10- cook in oven for 40mins
  • 11- cut into chunky brownies or smaller bite size pieces
  • 12- store in airtight container in the fridge or at room temperature for 2 days
