Spicy Chickpea
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- 1 small garlic clove, crushed
- 1:2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- juice of 1 lemon
- salt & pepper
- ingredients for mashed avocado ?
- 1 ripe avocado
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- pinch of salt
- optional-chilli flakes
- sliced bread of choice
Preparation
Heat 1 tsp of oil in frying pan over medium heat then add garlic, chickpeas & cook for 2 minutes then add spices , lemon juice & season with salt & pepper & cook for 2-3 minutes
Mash the avocado in small dish @ add lemon juice & pinch of salt , you have the option to add chilli flakes
Spread the avocado mixture over toasted bread then top with the chickpeas & enjoy
