Lilac Sugar

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup lilac flowers

Preparation

  1. In a pint sized mason jar, layer the flower petals and sugar

  2. A cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of flowers, and so on

  3. Store in a dark place and shake every day for a week

  4. Strain out the flowers and keep in a jar to sprinkle on top of cookies, fruit, cake, etc whatever you can dream of
