Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Optional: 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1 cup frozen berries (strawberries or choice)
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 cup milk
- Optional: teaspoon of honey or maple syrup
- Optional: scoop of vanilla protein powder
- Additional peanut butter for topping
Preparation
Optional: Choose to make separate layers or combine all ingredients at once.
For peanut butter layer: Blend 1 cup milk, 1 frozen banana, 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter, 1 cup ice, and optional 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower together. Pour into a jar and place in the freezer.
For jelly layer: Blend 1 cup frozen berries, 1/2 cup ice, 1 cup milk, and optional teaspoon of honey, maple syrup, or vanilla protein powder together. Pour over the frozen peanut butter layer.
Add a little peanut butter on top for garnish and enjoy.
