Vegan Banana Nice Cream
Ingredients
- 3 frozen bananas

- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- Splash of orange or pineapple juice
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Preparation
Get ripe bananas as they provide more sweetness
Chop bananas into chunks and lay them in a single layer on a parchment-lined plate or tray, ensuring they are peeled before freezing
Freeze the banana chunks for 2 hours and optionally freeze other fruits of choice for added flavor
Let the frozen bananas thaw for about 5 minutes
Blend the bananas in a high-powered blender or food processor, adding a splash of milk if needed to start the blending process
For extra sweetness and flavor, add sweeteners and extra flavors as listed, then scrape the sides and blend until a smooth, soft-serve consistency is achieved
Eat the nice cream straight from the blender for soft-serve texture or spoon it into a dish and freeze for about 30 minutes for a firmer texture, then serve with toppings
