Tofu Bok Choy Potstickers
Ingredients
- 1/2 block firm tofu
- 8 Chinese mushrooms
- 2 teaspoons black bean sauce (substitute with 2 teaspoons soy sauce plus 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup)
- 1 pound bok choy
- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- sesame oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Mix the tofu, mushrooms, bok choy, and black bean sauce (or substitute) with salt and pepper to make the filling.
Spoon the filling onto dumpling wrappers and fold them to seal the edges.
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the potstickers.
Cook until the bottoms are golden brown, then add a small amount of water, cover, and steam until fully cooked.
