Easy Vegan Popcorn Tofu
Ingredients
- 400g firm tofu
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 30g (1/4 cup) plain white flour
- 90ml (1/3 cup) unsweetened soy milk
- 1 tsp sriracha (hot sauce)
- 90g (3 cups) plain corn flakes
Preparation
Press the tofu to remove excess water and cut into small cubes
Mix the sea salt, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder together in a bowl
Season the tofu cubes with the spice mixture
Set up three stations: one with flour, one with soy milk mixed with sriracha, and one with crushed corn flakes
Coat each tofu cube first in flour, then in the soy milk mixture, and finally in the corn flakes
Bake or air fry the coated tofu at 200°C until golden and crispy, about 20-25 minutes
