Homemade Creamy Cilantro Cumin Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked chickpeas or canned
  • 1/2 cup good quality tahini
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic
  • Handful of cilantro
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/3 filtered water
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth for about 5 minutes, scraping the sides of the blender.

  2. Serve hummus in a shallow plate.

  3. Drizzle with some olive oil (optional), top it with olives, tomatoes, herbs and sweet peppers.

  4. Enjoy!
