Homemade Creamy Cilantro Cumin Hummus
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked chickpeas or canned
- 1/2 cup good quality tahini
- Juice of one lemon
- 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic
- Handful of cilantro
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/3 filtered water
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
Blend all the ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth for about 5 minutes, scraping the sides of the blender.
Serve hummus in a shallow plate.
Drizzle with some olive oil (optional), top it with olives, tomatoes, herbs and sweet peppers.
