The Ultimate Vegan Tuna Melt Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 pkg of Good Catch fish-free Tuna
- 1/4 cup vegenaise
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp stone ground mustard
- 2 Tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
- Dash of black pepper
- 4 slices your choice of bread, I used Nine-Grain bread
- 4 slices @followyourheart American cheese
- tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup butter softened for spreading
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium sized bowl combine the tuna, vegenaise, celery, red onion, mustard, parsley, and black pepper.
Butter each slice of bread.
Putting the butter side down on a baking pan and add the cheese on the unbuttered side.
Add the tuna mixture on top.
Top with tomato and additional cheese.
Bake in oven until golden brown. Approx 10-12 mins.
