Vegan Chocolate Cake with Coffee Option

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened oat milk
  • 1 cup warm water OR coffee
  • 1/2 cup of vegan butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 3/4 cup of cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare your pans.

  2. Sift all your dry ingredients in one bowl.

  3. Add your wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

  4. Pour your wet ingredients into the dry.

  5. Stir until combined and mixed well.

  6. Pour into your prepared pans.

  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until firm.

Notes

  1. This recipe yields two 6-inch cakes and three cupcakes.
