Sesame Ginger Brussels Sprouts Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Brussels sprouts
  • 500 grams oyster mushrooms
  • 3 sliced white onions
  • 3 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons grated garlic
  • 20 ml light soy sauce
  • 20 ml smoked sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a pot, bring the water to a boil, add salt and blanch the Brussels sprouts for 3 minutes. Strain and refresh in cold water.

  2. In a cast iron pan (optional), heat some smoked sesame oil, add the grated ginger and garlic. Sweat allowing the aroma to scent the kitchen.

  3. Add the sliced white onions and saute well.

  4. Add the roughly torn oyster mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes.

  5. Add the blanched Brussels sprouts and saute well.

  6. Drizzle in the light soy sauce and season with salt and crushed pepper.
