Easy Impressive Hassleback Potatoes Dish

Ingredients

  • Potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Thyme
  • Cracked pepper
  • Dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F.

  2. Place cut potatoes into a baking dish.

  3. Spoon or brush olive oil between each layer.

  4. Sprinkle with kosher salt, thyme, cracked pepper, and dried parsley.

  5. Pour 1/4 cup water into the bottom of the pan.

  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.

  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

  8. Check if layers can be pierced with a fork; if not done, continue baking.

Cutting method

  1. Place a kitchen towel on the counter.

  2. Position two chopsticks or wooden spoons under the potato.

  3. Cut down until the knife hits the chopsticks to leave uncut sections.

  4. Avoid using fingers to prevent injury.
