Vegan Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2cup corn flour
  • handful asparagus
  • 1cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup red cabbage
  • 100g baby corn
  • chopped spring onions for garnish
  • chopped chillies for garnish (optional)
  • for the szechuan sauce:
  • 1tbsp corn flour
  • 1/4cup soy sauce (any type, won’t be adding salt in the sauce)
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2tbsp brown sugar (or preferred sweetener)
  • 1tbsp finely grated ginger
  • 1/2tbsp garlic powder, granules or chopped garlic
  • 1tbsp readymade red chilli sauce

Preparation

  1. This recipe takes 15mins prep time & 15mins cooking time and is finger licking bombastic

  2. You can use the Szechuan sauce in lots of different recipes so make double and save in the fridge or freezer
