Creamy Garlic and Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz dry pasta
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp italian spices
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup dairy-free cream

Preparation

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain, then set aside.

  2. Heat a skillet with oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.

  3. Add mushrooms, spices, and nutritional yeast to the skillet.

  4. Stir well and cook until mushrooms are soft.

  5. Stir in Dijon mustard and cream.

  6. Mix in the cooked pasta and season with salt and lemon juice to taste before serving.
