Pasta with Broccoli, Chilli and Garlic
Ingredients
- 2 medium sized broccoli
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1/2 a mild chilli sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Pepper
- 1 packet of pasta of choice
Preparation
Cut the broccoli into pieces removing the stem.
In a pot with boiling water add the broccoli and cook for 10 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
In a fry pan add the salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic, and chilli.
Sautee for a few minutes then add cooked broccoli and combine.
Try to crush the broccoli a bit while stirring.
Cook for a further 10 minutes.
Set aside.
Cook the pasta as per instructions.
Drain and add it to the broccoli mixture.
Add more chilli to garnish and a drizzle of olive oil.
