Spiced Kokum Kadhi Beverage
Ingredients
- 200 grams kokum
- salt
- garlic
- green chillies
- roasted cumin powder
- coconut nectar or alternative sweetener
- water
Preparation
Clean and remove pits from 200 grams of kokum.
Rinse the kokum in fresh water, save the water, and filter it through a fine mesh or cloth.
Add salt, garlic, green chillies, roasted cumin powder, and coconut nectar to the cleaned kokum.
Blend the mixture with the saved kokum water or fresh water until smooth.
Serve with plain khichdi and palya for a comforting meal.
