The Easiest Baked Chocolate Peppermint Donuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup nut/seed butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F

  2. Blend the medjool dates, almond milk, nut/seed butter, and peppermint extract

  3. Transfer to a bowl

  4. Stir in the cacao powder, salt, and baking soda

  5. Spoon or pipe into a greased donut pan

  6. Bake for 15-17 minutes at 350F

  7. Cool for 10 minutes

  8. Then flip onto a cooling rack to cool completely

  9. Dip or drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed candy canes (optional)

  10. Eat
