The Easiest Baked Chocolate Peppermint Donuts
Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted medjool dates
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup nut/seed butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350F
Blend the medjool dates, almond milk, nut/seed butter, and peppermint extract
Transfer to a bowl
Stir in the cacao powder, salt, and baking soda
Spoon or pipe into a greased donut pan
Bake for 15-17 minutes at 350F
Cool for 10 minutes
Then flip onto a cooling rack to cool completely
Dip or drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed candy canes (optional)
