Vegan Nutella Chocolate Spread
Ingredients
- 150 g soaked dates
- a splash of soaked date water
- 150 g hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
Optional additions
- vanilla extract
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
Soak the dates in water for about 30 minutes to soften them
Roast the hazelnuts in the oven for about 15 minutes
Blend all ingredients together until a smooth spread is formed
Bliss balls variation
Omit the date water, form the mixture into balls, and optionally chill
