Smokey Tamari Roast Nut and Seed Mix


  • 3 tbsp tamari
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 2 tsp chinese 5 spice
  • 1 cup raw cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds


  1. Mix well and then roast in the oven at 150C for about 15 mins, stirring 3 or 4 times.

  2. Tip out onto grease proof paper to cool.

  3. You will probably need to break up the nuts and seeds a bit into smaller chunks.

  4. Store in a sealed container and they should keep for about a week if you haven't eaten them before then!
