Mint Chip Spirulina Coconut
Ingredients
- Base layer
- - 1 cup frozen cauliflower
- - 2 fresh mint leaves
- - 2 tablespoons shredded coco nut or coconut butter
- - 2 dates - 1 teaspoon spirulina blend
- - 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- - 1/2 cup almond milk
- - 2 tablespoons yogurt
- - 1 small handful kale leaves
- - 1/2 teaspoon organic cinnamon
- Mixing layer
- - 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- - 1/2 cup almond milk
- - 4 tablespoons almond yogurt
- Details
- - 1 cup steamed peeled carrots
- - juice of 1/2 orange
- - 1 small or 1/2 large banana (i personally like it with banana instead of cauliflower since the carrots alone aren’t that sweet)
- - 1/4 cup almond milk
- - 1/2 teaspoon tocos
- - 1/2 teaspoon organic cinnamon
- - 2 tablespoons of your favorite plant-based yogurt (i used almond yogurt)
- - optional: beans from 1/2 vanilla pod (pure bliss!) Extras
- - extra plant-based yogurt
- - coconut flaked
- - shelled pistachios
Preparation
Blend in the smoothie to the mixing layer as desired to get your layers and add them in! I topped this with @navitasorganics cacao nibs, coconut shreds, and fresh mint leaves
Carrot creamsicle
To start, put about 1/4 cup of your favorite plant-based yogurt in the base of the jar
Next, blend all your smoothie ingredients together
Add the smoothie
Top with coconut flakes and pistachios and enjoy
