Creamy Strawberry Coconut Protein Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 2 medjool dates, pits removed
- 1 cup coconut water
- a generous squeeze of maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
- your favorite vanilla protein powder
- splash of vanilla extract
- strawberry jam (I use homemade chia jam)
- shredded coconut (optional)
Preparation
Blend strawberries, dates, vanilla extract, coconut water, coconut yogurt, sweetener, and protein powder until smooth and creamy.
Taste test if more sweetener is needed.
Coat your glass with more coconut yogurt and strawberry jam.
Pour your smoothie into the glass.
Top with more yogurt and jam.
Add coconut flakes if desired and enjoy.
